Hintzsche Headlines

August 2012 – Hintzsche Celebrates 50 Years!

The weather was perfect, the facility impeccable, and everything was in place. It was a day we’d all dreamed about . . . a day to remember. . . a day to celebrate. Started in 1962, Hintzsche celebrated 50 years and three generations as the area’s leading ag retailer.

About 125 employees and shareholders strong, the “people in red” gathered together to put on a party like no other for our customers and special guests. Although the crowd was estimated at about 1400 guests, you never would have known it. There was barely a line at the reception desk and rarely more than a dozen people in line for ribeyes and chops.

National Ag Commentator Max Armstrong spent the day at the Hintzsche celebration.

Nationally-acclaimed ag broadcaster Max Armstrong spent the day with us. When he wasn’t speaking, we were wooed by Jared Olson’s band and the Jim Kanas Trio.

Roger Hintzsche

Roger Hintzsche and the Jim Kanas Trio entertained the crowd.

Kids had their faces painted, got tuckered out in the bounce house and were entertained by a balloon-twisting clown. Kids of all ages got their fill of cookies and ice cream. Everyone went away with a goodie bag filled with deluxe gifts.

Rochelle customer Jim Schoonhoven went away with the biggest gift of all. He won the customer grand prize, a 2012 John Deere Gator.
